DR. JUR. PETER CANINENBERG
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dr Caninenberg joined the Management Board in 2008 and is today the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). His specialty is contingency insurance for large scale sports events. He is a pioneer in this field and completed his dissertation on the topic of sports event cancellation in 1987. In addition, Dr Caninenberg is an expert in speciality insurance for the sports industry.
Dr Caninenberg completed his law degree in 1984 and received his doctorate title in 1988. His many years of experience and vast knowledge of the sports insurance are extremely valuable to the team and to our clients.
As a 143-capped national hockey player, he has particularly close ties to the sports sector.
